Sealing
“Thy word have I hid in mine heart.” Psalm 119:11
1 · Choose a book
Open Study → Study and pick a book: Genesis to Revelation, as cloth-bound covers on a shelf. You can seal more than one at a time.
2 · Set your rhythm
Choose your Bible (KJV, WEB, BSB or Reina-Valera), when you'll study each day, and how long you'd like: a number of days, a finish date, or a few verses a day. Selah works out the rest and reminds you gently, once a day.
3 · Write it three times
Each verse: read it slowly, then write it three times, each a little harder: with some words missing, with only first letters, then from memory. Peeking is always allowed; that try just doesn't count.
4 · Seal the chapter
When a chapter is practiced, a short exam made only from its own words (fill in the missing word, put verses in order, which verse is this) seals it at 80%. Sealed chapters come back for short refreshers, spaced out over months, so they stay with you.
Learned it in another Bible?
Choose “Key words, any translation” and write the verse as you know it (NIV, NKJV, ESV…). Selah checks the whole verse, its key words and their order. A list of words or the general idea won't pass.
Memorized
When every chapter of a book is sealed, its cover turns gold: ✦ Memorized.
